About the Author
Ethan is the son of a farmer and nurse who was later adopted by artists. Ethan writes towards a peaceful world with a sharp and unique perspective, always following George Orwell's six rules for writing, mainly #6, "Break any of these rules sooner than say anything outright barbarous." Ethan proudly dropped out of high school, though he later admittedly graduated. He later dropped out of college and the proverbial rat race, moving to the mountains to pursue snowboarding. This led him to pursue tai chi chuan, yoga and meditation. Being a dropout Ethan has been able to honestly observe and present his observations and his many articles have appeared on leading news websites with global audiences as well as several magazines. Ethan's neophyte work is The Complete Patriot's Guide to Oligarchical Collectivism, published by Progressive Press. In it he explores history, philosophy and activism through an Orwellian lens.

A must read for understanding the new world order

Many readers will undoubtedly recognize the homage paid to George Orwell's Nineteen
Eighty-Four evident in the title of The Complete Patriot's Guide to Oligarchical Collectivism: Its
Theory and Practice by Ethan. However, for any of those still unfamiliar with Orwell's seminal
masterpiece, this volume stands firmly on its own as an accurate and comprehensive treatise on
the past, present and future status of global human politics.
Within this debut literary work Ethan reveals the machinations of societal control that
do not simply permeate but, in fact, define the world in which we live. Ethan painstakingly
researches and reduces centuries of historical data into a simple template which provides
the reader with a way to understand how each or our individual thought processes fit into the
complex fabric of our sociopolitical existence.
The Complete Patriots Guide to Oligarchical Collectivism: Its Theory and Practice
employs a vast array of source material, coupled with a unique insight to break down the human
intellect into four distinct categories; the idiot, the zealot, the elitist or the patriot, in regards to

Outside the Box Thinking

From time to time, I find a book that opens the way I think about the world. This is one such book, and one that I'm very glad I came across. The contents are pretty wide ranging, from the world order and controlling forces around the world through history to larger philosophical issues. For me, many of these things were not new. The selling point of the book for me lies in the fresh look it brings to these problems and the recommendations it gives on how we can bring some change. It is a practical book, informed by a creative spirit and countless priceless nuggets of wisdom. I've given it to friends and recommended to others.
