I'd think it was more amazing.

I had been practicing the original piano solo for many years and discovered this version. While it makes some passages much easier to play, some of the simpler passages (at least for me) prove more difficult. I've cut and pasted between the two versions to make the impossible passages performable while keeping most of the original to get the full sound that's so incredible when you play it right. Maybe if I had only ever seen this version, I'd think it was more amazing.

I really like how this arrangement captures the bulk of Gershwin's original. The changes often are very minimal--sometimes just assigning notes to a hand and incorporating finger cue numbers.
