Julia K. Stronks is a practicing attorney and assistant professor of political and international studies at Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington. Gloria Goris Stronks is a scholar in residence at Whitworth University and the author of several books. She previously served as professor of education at Calvin College.

This book is a must read for any teacher who teaches in the public school and wants to "hang on" to their Christian values. In ways that only God can show you, you will be able to convey that love of Christ to the hundreds of children who come your way. No words.....just the love!
It encouraged me and assured me that there is great satisfaction in reaching out with the hands of Jesus.

I originally bought this book for a class, but I know now that I would not be able to start a teaching career with out it. It will be useful to me as a teacher, or as a parent to children in the public system.

Good Book to read

This book was a required read for my last teaching class. We only needed to read three chapters so I almost didn't buy it. I am so glad I did. This book will be helpful as the times of teaching continue to change. I will be able to refer back to the helpful information for many years to come.
